You have very high walls so I would do a tall wainscot on the walls to create some warmth and decoration at the same time. Take everything off the walls and remove all the small little shelfs and decorations, leave only the big furniture. Then start over with the wall decor. Need some bold statements to create some balance and interest but not clutter. Add some larger shelves if you need shelves, something hefty and interesting. It's hard to see wall color and how it works with the upholstery. Do you need all that furniture in the space? I would thin it out. Remove one of the sofas and place the chairs across from the other one. Open up the space in front of the window. Add a sofa table behind a sofa along the wall and decorate it with a couple large vintage style lamps with some accent color (pull a color from the rug that you like) on each end and tablescape the middle of the table. Add a huge mirror above Bring that same accent color into the space with some bookshelf decor but not cluttery. I am not a fan of the drapes; something more neutral in a grommet panel style that can easily be opened. Hang them at the ceiling. They will look really nice because they create nice gentle folds if the fabric is a bit heavy for weight. Priyanka, Wallpaper on doors is not a good idea. You can go for laminate panelling on the wall and matching laminates on the doors. You can choose a veneer as well. The space is too wide for a single door though. You will have to plan accordingly. I am assuming you are talking about the brown door and not the other black door in picture. two basic issues your room floor is dull is that floor to floor carpet if yes then add a a smaller area rug under your table to get splash of colour, alternatively if you dont want to do that then add some colorful wallpaper behind the sofa. Where you have the table lamp add something taller like a modern floor lamp or a tall spread out palm plant. Take the table lamp and add to a side table if you have one. The second biggest issue is that you have a lovely modern sectional sofa and then you have paired it with a very traditional and very high coffee table that looks like it has marble inlay work done (cant make out clearly). This is not a good pairing. The coffee table is the right size but get something modern and a lot lower, a general guide to this would be one inch to 2 inches lower than the seating height of the sofa. As someone else mentioned an Ottoman that can serve as a coffee table in an alternate colour will also work. Paintings and wall art is something you can experiment with but unless you do something about the coffee table the room will continue to look odd in my opinion. Also some more shots of the room will help us get perspective.
