HELP...Need decorating ideas for small living room

Hi All,

Please suggest ideas to decorate this small living space...apparently doors of all the other rooms of the apartment open into this space..your valuable suggestions are needed urgently...let me know if any additional info is required...thanks in advance experts!!

Hello

You need to consult Architect or designer to completely design your space. Its a walled space and you need the right consultation to make it home. Before that you can work on _

Decide upon your taste of style , theme or particulars of finishes.

Budget on Finishes , Fixtures etc automation technology, smart home etc etc.

Hey Amit,

Living areas need an clean flow of foot traffic. keeping it near the balcony would be ideal. that be default leaves the centre of all the door opening to be your dining area.

To make the best of the space you will need modular and multipurpose furniture. This is something a trained designer will be able to help you with better.

While DIY is an ambitious goal. This is a challenge. We would advice finding a designer that you felt comfortable with.

Hey Amit, Since the Living Room is almost like Grand Central Station, (Or Dadar, if you look closer home) it is necessary to optimize the foot traffic to avoid problems. It would be ideal to create the living area near the window and dining area near all the doors. A window seat or a bench could go along way to increase seating space. Hi Rakhi , You can probably follow this : Furnishings : If you wish to retain the Sofa, you can highlight it with bright silk / cotton silk bright colored cushions and throws. Change the curtains to neutrals. Walls : You can also go neutral on the wall colors ( off whites , ivory , beige or light grey) This opens up your possibilities and choices with furnishings and other add - ons. Artwork / frames : You can add lots of art work frames ( on the sofa wall ) of various style and types Plants : Please add lot of greens , it really lights up the space like no other artificial prop can. You get lot of low maintenance indoor plants they brighten up the space. Please note : You should first choose whether you wish to go for a traditional look or a modern or even a blend of the the two and then choose artwork and furnishings accordingly. i have an option for you to plan the space first.where to arrange sittings and all later add on decors to your home..fix tv unit shown in pic..if the french window is accessible to balcony then customize sofas that to be place in sides shown in pic.if its not accessible to balcony then go for a l shaped sofas some accent chairs to spice up the space..cover the window with long curtains
