HELP...Need decorating ideas for small living room

Hi All,

Please suggest ideas to decorate this small living space...apparently doors of all the other rooms of the apartment open into this space..your valuable suggestions are needed urgently...let me know if any additional info is required...thanks in advance experts!!

Hello

You need to consult Architect or designer to completely design your space. Its a walled space and you need the right consultation to make it home. Before that you can work on _

Decide upon your taste of style , theme or particulars of finishes.

Budget on Finishes , Fixtures etc automation technology, smart home etc etc.

Hey Amit,

Living areas need an clean flow of foot traffic. keeping it near the balcony would be ideal. that be default leaves the centre of all the door opening to be your dining area.

To make the best of the space you will need modular and multipurpose furniture. This is something a trained designer will be able to help you with better.

While DIY is an ambitious goal. This is a challenge. We would advice finding a designer that you felt comfortable with.

Why don't you troll Houzz first and build an idea book of anything you like for each room. Then go back and see if you notice a reoccurring furniture design, wood color, style ... Any kind of preference. Any of us can post three gorgeous rooms for you, but they will be a reflection of our taste and not yours.

Hello Monika, I must say that concrete wall is fantastic! I see a large planter with a large leaved plant there.. I like Jonathan's idea, off white or shades of cream for the remaining walls and ceiling or even a subtle stone colour.. Then we need to talk textures! I think the sofa could work if you move it out a bit from the wall and layer it up with throws and add a couple of lovely cushions.. Warm woods would be nice too to balance the room.. Have you considered adding concrete to other areas of the home? There are some fantastic concrete chairs available both as a chair and bar stool.. Could be fabulous to compliment this room.. Cox and Cox did some pendant lights that were concrete with a warm edge detail.. You could create your own arrangement with a 5 wire ceiling rose and hooks.. A glass topped coffee table could be nice too.. Have a look at eBay or vintage shops.. Oh and one more thing... You can if you like the concrete wall find wallpaper for another room say that resembles what you have in the living room or even marble! It's fabulous and a feature you want to make the most out of! :))

Based on your style you can select the decor items to display. even if you want a luxurious feel to you room, add mirrors or metal accents. A traditional nature inspired would involve textured items in wood, cane, handicrafts etc.

i have an option for you to plan the space first.where to arrange sittings and all later add on decors to your home..fix tv unit shown in pic..if the french window is accessible to balcony then customize sofas that to be place in sides shown in pic.if its not accessible to balcony then go for a l shaped sofas some accent chairs to spice up the space..cover the window with long curtains
