I like second plan! That space will fit the wardrobe perfectly. Take all colors from the art. The colors can be lighter or darker than the colors you see in art. Take "Venice" with you to paint store and they might be able to help you choose good colors. Idea: paint four walls the same and see if you like that. If you feel the room lacks interest, then paint the accent wall. Choose a pale green that harmonizes with "Venice" and a darker green accent. Yellow + red accent White + blue accent

likithraaj, OMG - serious? You really need to sit down and do up a proper floor plan complete with where plumbing, electrical, hvac etc., etc. are going to run. I can't believe you've demolished your home before having a proper floor plan! Hire a local professional interior designer to come out and get that portion done right - and, to anyone else out there - GET YOUR DESIGN ON PAPER FIRST BEFORE YOU DEMOLISH. It is so much easier to change things and not be pressured into making last minute decisions. likithraaj, your going to have to make some quick decisions - ones that I'm not prepared to assist you with at this juncture until a proper floor plan has been submitted. I strongly second One Plan's idea about looking for another architect. If this one is not motivated, all the fame in the world is not going to help. An alternative approach to finding an architect is to find some good contractors who have built things you like. Ask them for architects' names. Make sure they work in your price range. In the meantime, you can find out from your local building department what the set back and height restrictions are. Are you required to build parking areas or garage space, what kind of airspace restrictions do you have for neighbors' views and sunlight, that kind of thing. Often this stuff is on city websites or handouts at the office.

Hi Rakhi , You can probably follow this : Furnishings : If you wish to retain the Sofa, you can highlight it with bright silk / cotton silk bright colored cushions and throws. Change the curtains to neutrals. Walls : You can also go neutral on the wall colors ( off whites , ivory , beige or light grey) This opens up your possibilities and choices with furnishings and other add - ons. Artwork / frames : You can add lots of art work frames ( on the sofa wall ) of various style and types Plants : Please add lot of greens , it really lights up the space like no other artificial prop can. You get lot of low maintenance indoor plants they brighten up the space. Please note : You should first choose whether you wish to go for a traditional look or a modern or even a blend of the the two and then choose artwork and furnishings accordingly.
