I was also wondering if it would be ok to have the sink right below the window. Thereby freeing up more cooking or prep space....See MoreNeed help in designing house plan
Comments (23)As per vastu the kitchen should be in SOUTH EAST direction with the BURNER on the SE corner and the cook should face EAST while cooking. Master bedroom or the bedroom of the earning member should be in the SOUTH WEST direction. Positions of W.C. also matters . It should be facing NORTH. Beds positions of all the rooms should not be on the NORTH wall. These are the some points of vastu. If you want it in detail, you can ask me....See Morehelp me on thi floor plan interior

Comments (5)Thanks Rupal for your response. I have not started the construction yet. 1. I agree, thanks for suggestion. But on the 1st and 2nd floor will be keeping the small kitchen size so that two families can reside(on rent). 2. Yes, its a joint family. I would be happy if you can elaborate a little more on it. 3. Basically, I will be residing with my family on ground floor and other floors will be on rent. So need to design accordingly....See More- 10 years ago
