An interesting dilemma! This reminds me why we like to say "form follows function." So in India you take off the mosquito net and place it under the mattress? Also you take off the bed sheets as well? So that, each night, the whole bed must be made and the mosquito netting placed? That's a lot of work! Why is this done? So I like this steel frame bed. You could roll up the nets on all sides if you wanted too, and tie them up with ties. Or tie them back at the posts.
