Need Help in setting my Living Room with furniture layout and Decorati

Hello

i have very small apartment of size 1315 sq feet. I would need some decorating idea and furniture help. Your expert advice would be great . Please help me and thanks in advance.

- Furniture Layout (Sofa , dining table and few storage and Tv Cabinte)

- Lighting

-Decoration ideas

Budget is moderate.I want it took look more spacious.

The best way to make a small space look larger is to avoid the tendency to add in too much furniture, or make it too large-scale. You need pieces that offer you enough seating, but with smaller profiles in both your living and dining space. Look for multi-functional pieces with storage, keep the wall color the same in areas that flow together, and use the walls for vertical storage and display instead of relying only on freestanding pieces. Look for furniture retailers that advertise "apartment size furniture," and see Houzz Photos under "small space living" and "vertical storage? for ideas. You can use art, an area rug or similar to decide your color scheme. Your apartment really isn't that small, fortunately, by big-city standards.

You have very high walls so I would do a tall wainscot on the walls to create some warmth and decoration at the same time. Take everything off the walls and remove all the small little shelfs and decorations, leave only the big furniture. Then start over with the wall decor. Need some bold statements to create some balance and interest but not clutter. Add some larger shelves if you need shelves, something hefty and interesting. It's hard to see wall color and how it works with the upholstery. Do you need all that furniture in the space? I would thin it out. Remove one of the sofas and place the chairs across from the other one. Open up the space in front of the window. Add a sofa table behind a sofa along the wall and decorate it with a couple large vintage style lamps with some accent color (pull a color from the rug that you like) on each end and tablescape the middle of the table. Add a huge mirror above Bring that same accent color into the space with some bookshelf decor but not cluttery. I am not a fan of the drapes; something more neutral in a grommet panel style that can easily be opened. Hang them at the ceiling. They will look really nice because they create nice gentle folds if the fabric is a bit heavy for weight. Have you ever thought about floating shelves? I think pairing a few floating shelves together would look great and would free up space in your living room.
