Comments (5)I would not mix LED and CFL they have different looks and LED s are much cheaper to run. You can find a fixture you like and switch out most with LEDs, we have been slowly changing all of our halogen lighting to LEDs now that the LEDs come in higher wattages. We have 70 halogen lights in our house so I am doing 12 at a time, love the change. I like the fact that you can have a lot more lights off the same circuit too....See Morei need help for my formal living and unformal living and dinning
Comments (300)I think a comfortable distance between the island and the counter is around 42". It seems that you have only 30" between your cook top and the counter. I might be a little too tight. The wall between the entrance and the kitchen could be 4' long instead of 6', you would then be able to move the island a foot which would give you more room between the cook top and the island. Could you switch the location of the toilet and vanity in your dad's bathroom so your enter facing a vanity instead of a toilet which is a lot nicer....See Moreneed help for selecting colour of my living and dining room ..

Comments (10)Hello Vineetha, God is everywhere ! If you are going to use the room as a study room then you may very well keep the Pooja room in the same room. Its will be your sacred corner and hope it will bring peace, prosperity and knowledge to the family. That room is already very small in fact at 3200*2300 it is smaller than your kitchen ?Trimming a section from the smallest room to create Pooja room defies our understanding. If you are keen on Vastu- Yes, it is better to have square/rectangle rooms. North east corners are ideal for Pooja and Study. Thanks, Nitin Cornerstone Designs Bangalore....See More- 10 years ago
