Need suggestions for wall behind bed

There is a small rectangular space on the wall above my bed and i wish to decorate it. My room walls are black and i was thinking i could have it texture painted in aqua blue colour to simulate waves on a shore. Any other ideas are appreciated as well.

Is it possible for you to turn the bed around ,in order to avoid this box ? If not paint it the same colour as the wall to make it blend in.

Can you give a picture that gives a wider shot of the room, the bed is offset right now and Genevieve's advice is good. Or you can play on the asymmetry of the space by adding a black and white triptych

the design looks great . According to me one side of windows can be used as bed wall . we can have blackout curtains or blackout window blinds . You can even play with drapery to define the area behind bed. We already have seating in the room so next we can do is give a console/ study table with an puffe / chair to it. also one can add a bench at the end of bed. Size you can check on your Autocad . Bed wall should be the focus when one enters the room, so I feel the bed should be placed like this . Dimensions of furniture and circulation space you can work on. Also WC should be on the washbasin side to avoid Future leakages and dampness in bedroom wall. all the best

Aditi, Sorry to be a spoil-sport but the plan is far away from reality. Like every locality has a setback limit defined, doesn't look like that is followed. The stairs space isn't sufficient for elderly to reach the next floor. Entrance to the smaller room is like a maze and the kitchen is almost non existent. It's good to have your requirements defined but IMHO this plan is a bit too stretched. Great try, but please seek professional help on the plan. Thanks, Nitin Cornerstone Designs, Bangalore.

I would place random floating black shelves. then you can change out the decor sitting on the shelves whenever you feel like it, or to match a new different colored bedspread in the future.

Have you considered a mural?

We make a
