I think the L shape sofa will look good, with the corner of L placed where you have the Ganesha Idol. you can also place a bench on the opposite side with some colorful cushions on it. It will give you a contrast look and a antique touch to the hall. You can place the Idol elsewhere in the hall, may be just opposite the door ttowards the call. so that whoever enters from that door feels nice/good. Hi Mudit, Some few basic changes, like highlighting the carving details with a white PU paint, changing the upholstery to a softer look and feel fabric will give it a newer look while still maintaining its strength and durability. You may also think of adding a backdrop pop-up wall colour / traditional painting to accentuate the area.
