Sounds okay if that fits with the style of the house.

I personally think a black and white room is sharp and provides a unique look. I understand if you want some color on the walls so I attached some other spaces with paint colors you may like. The cool blue is great with black and white as is a cement colored gray.

It should look great but test drive a few blues they can change a lot in different spaces.
