Vanity legs

Hi there -- I love the combination of finishes used here! It's a beautiful bathroom.

A couple of questions about the sink:
- What type of wood is used for the legs?
- Is the sink wall-mounted with the legs just for show, or do they actually support the sink?
- Is the sink drain pipe in the wall, or do we just not see it below the sink because of the angle of this photo?

Many thanks!

    Hi,

Thanks for your questions, just got back from holiday.
It has been a while but I think the legs were oak, the sink is wall mounted and supported by the legs, I think it was a Duravit. And yes the plumbing wasn't finished when we had it photographed so the photographer photoshopped it out, good catch!

    Best,

I can find no info about mounting bracket/hardware for Duravit sinks?

    Hi,

Thanks for your question, I believe there are mounting holes in the back of the sink, I'm sure our contractor did not use anything out of the ordinary but be sure and providing blocking in the wall to support the sink. Duravit should have mounting instructions.

    Best regards,
