Nice but not fond of the dark upper cabinets & probably would have put a little color on the backsplash.

Has anyone used Ikea for designing their modular kitchen?

You can use IKEA's online kitchen design tool to create your own kitchen design. It only requires room size and shape. The cabinets are standard dimensions (30/60/90 cm etc). If Ikea India site does not offer online cabinet selection, you can use, UK or other sites for your inspiration. This should give you good idea how your kitchen will look like. Ikea cabinets have 25-yr warranty in most countries.

How are the upper cabinets accessed? I would need a ladder for all but the range side white ones. And there's no toe kick. My aching back leaning over to prep stuff.

Hello @adivra, we have designed the upper cabinets for extra storage as per the client requirement to store their extra unused items. You can easily use the side white cabinets and the frosted glass cabinets on a daily basis though :)
