Some kind of teak wood would be best. IPE is what this looks like. Please purchase responsibility as it is harvested by clear cutting in some areas. FSC is best.

Hello Chandni, Do you have a 3D view of the plan to use the wood. The suggestion on real wood material on external facade would depend on the likley placement. hi struti I would say it's matter of choice. marble or even granite or rough stone will have its own charm and definitely long lasting but only when staircase passage is comfortable huge. if space is compact wooden stairs would be better as its could be playfull with spiral or even basics with moulds and finishes, giving staircase elevation a contemporary look thanks shradha shah beescheese design

Anita Vitrified tiles by themselves do not particularly allow the walls to breathe, and hence are prone to cracking. That being said they do not collect moss either. If you are however set on using these tiles, I suggest you use them in a mosaic fashion, where smaller tiles or broken pieces are used. This will allow the wall to breathe, though the moss collection might be more due to the greater amount of grating.
