I agree. Too much white can be exhausting. also the little touched of darker colour in the grey means that you won't spend so much time wondering if your floor is spotless enough.:-)

Thanks for your reply Patricia. Grey Willam Marble is fantastic, will look something different, as maximum people will go for beige or cream, but i am sceptical about using a dark florring as trasfer of light will be less making the room go smaller and darker in ambience.
Need your advice on this also
First choice was white due to the reason that lighter florring give a wider look even to a small area,
My walls and ceiling will be white, furniture most of it will be white and little bit of charcol greey to brerak down the continuity of white.
Also advice which highliting color of a wall in an individual wall will go well with combination of white and charcol grey. ( I have two bedroom , dinning and hall and kitchen)

I do not believe that dark floors make a space feel smaller this is a picture of a very dark floor in a very small space and I think it does not make the space feel small at all.

As I discussed the entire wardrobe in the whole house is going to be white can I use any other colour or some latest trends to break the neutral white tone as the walls r again white.secondly I also a storage cabinet running all over the wardrobe what colour should I use for these cabinets which are close to the ceiling and above my white wardrobe... Pls advice will charcoal grey look good or it will be a hard contrast unnecessarily ????

I would not use charcoal high above white cabinets it will have a heavy feeling so close to the ceiling. As for other colors you could add almost any color to this very neutral palette for accessories the nice thing is you will be able to change those colors from time to time.These are examples

Thanks a ton for your advice Patricia... Can u pls help me with the colour I should go for the cabinets along the ceiling above the white wardrobes... Should I keep them white again using the same Formica as of the wardrobes. I m totally confused becoz these cabinets will be almost in all my rooms and don't really want to add another colour if possible becoz only colour additions in the rooms would be accessories n a single highlighting wall. Still if u suggest any other colour that can go well for the cabinets along the ceiling will be greatful to u. Thanks

Just leave them white or put some frosted glass in the upper ones for some lightness you won't be able to see what is in them but they will look alittle different and lighter.

White on white and again ceiling is white won't it be too white vertically all over upto the ceiling... Pls suggest something for storage cabinet as I don't won't to compromise on white wardrobes...
