A houzz contributor, not too long ago, had made a wine rack out of 4'x4' wooden pallets, that are used in the US to move a load of goods with a fork-lift truck. Perhaps they have them in your country. He cut them in half so they were only two feet deep and stacked them up to high counter height. I'm a Certified installer for Trex decking. Trex Transcend is encapsulated board, with a finish that resists staining, scratches, mold and has a high definition wood grain surface. I don't know what you did to it or whoever worked on your house did something to it, but Transcend decking does not need staining or painting and the protective shell protects decking against fading. Trex Transcend and a few other Trex decking products like Trex Enhance, and Trex Select, they cannot be painted or stained. The only thing can be painted is Trex Transcend White Railings and you should only use light color paint. If you use dark colors, it will absorb heat and it will damage the surface and you can kiss your railings good bye. Also high quality fast drying primer should be used and you have to use Oil or Water based exterior paint and most importantly surface prep is the the key. When it comes to painting specialty surfaces like Trex Railings, hire a Pro to do the work. With that said, if you installed Trex yourself, you have to go to the store and have a Trex representative come out and check your deck. They will determine if loss of color fading was due because of negligence or not. If its a material defect, they will cover the material cost. If you had a Certified contractor do the work, they will cover material and labor. Call your contractor and he will get a Trex Rep to come out within a few days. Good luck

The electrician and false ceiling folks I've engaged are very competent, and are going to take care of installing the ceiling fans (of any type or kind I buy). My only task is to find and procure appropriate fans. Regarding the loss of about 10" due to the false ceiling: I only did a simple rectangular tray drop design for lights (approx 4-6"); however, the original ceiling was not straight, and approx 2-3" extra went in straightening it at the tray edges. Since the ceiling seems (perceived) low, I do not want to make it look lower visually. I am looking for fans that will be as close as possible to the false-ceiling without effecting its sweep functionality or energy efficiency. Any suggestions on where I can get good ceiling fans in Bangalore (all brands and varieties under one roof)? I would also like to see/consider the options you've mentioned (special fan like flush fan or ceiling swing fans). Where can I see/procure these in Bangalore? Thanks!

Hi Ramesh, Dont worry to hire a pro, it will not cost u more.... infact u can select the designer who will fit into ur budget, and u will land ur house into a decent and budget friendly... if u dont mind, be open about the budget u have in your mind for these below mention requirement.. 1) bathroom makeover... 2) Plumbing tap change. 3) electrical board change. 4) cupboards 5) decent decoration. My Suggestion... 1) bathroom makeover... ( Send us pics of 4 walls, ceiling and flooring ) 2) Plumbing tap change.. ( Pillar or Wall Mounted Tap for Sink ) photos 3) Electrical board change. ( I hope if the internal cables are not in good conditions then that also will add in your budget cost, only if it is damaged ) photos 4) cupboards ( what happen to the cupboards ) please mention, and photos 5) decent decoration... this cost for good eye for a design... either u will get good suggestion or else u have to pay for the designer... any one...
