Need help for designing living room
Comments (7)It sounds like your underlying concern is how to make better use of the living room area. Removing the wall will give you a greater visual impact of the staircase from the living area but does not necessarily make the living space more usable. You might wish to consider how you are using the living space itself, that is, the furniture arrangement. Perhaps, you might want to consider spreading the furniture out by placing the TV on the left side wall, sofa/ couches in the middle of the room facing each other with a coffee table in the middle....i've attached a rough pencil sketch as an idea....hope this helps......See MoreNeed help in designing kitchen and living room
Comments (5)asrabanu, the image did not come through as Houzz requires specific image formats for posting. Perhaps you can save the image as a .jpg for uploading. In my own experience, Home Depot (in Canada) does not charge for kitchen drawings. however, I am not comfortable saying "go get work done for free and then hire somebody else". What's more, I have found that you can purchase a Home Depot kitchen at far less cost than through specialty kitchen suppliers. But, as Marina say, your best bet--even if working with Home Depot or its equivalent--is to find a designer that can help you get the most out of the expenditures you make. There are many variables, but in a recent kitchen, we saved 25000+ over an equivalent designer kitchen with a good design concept that could be created out of lesser cost pieces, assembled to look custom. And, if going with any kind of box or contract-build type supplier, remember to build in time to fix errors and expect to use both the installer and a carpenter to achieve the custom look....See MoreNeed help in designing living-room

What i understood with this is that , You should have two different rooms - one is formal drawing room with only sitting area and for that you need not provide a partition as it should look grand from your entryway and second one should be the living room. There you must give a partition between both the rooms so that the person sitting in the drawing room cannot peek in the living room and it'll be kind of privacy as other area will also be not directly visible . By giving a partition you are messing up the passage way more....See MoreNeed help designing the living room in my apartment
Comments (3)If the Deck is opening to a pleasant view, your current space planning seems to be wasting a good opportunity. Why is the dining so disconnected from the Kitchen? If you wish to get it redesigned professionally, you will need to provide me the 1. Coordinates of this house 2. Position of North 3. Current Status of the Construction (photos will do) 4. Budget allocated...See Moresrilatha1981
